The doomsday machine would have more power since it essentially breaks up planets, so a borg cube would not stand a chance

The Shadows would see them before they could get anywhere near the Shadows and their minds would overwhelm the Borg collective. Additionally the borgs tech is waaaay behind the Shadows. The truth is the Shadows would subtly change the Borg into a chaotic force of chaos.

Enterprise-J is for Colonizing other Planets and Colony Support including Evacuation... Also when it comes to Military Applications, it makes for a fantastic transport ship. Multiple Offensive and Defensive Arrays, Multiple Warp Cores, maybe they started using a Barkley's Warp Core "N'th Degree" just to power the Shields alone or MAYBE... Janeways Transphasic Torpedoes and Armor Technology... NOTHING beats those!!!

*Points finger at Warhammer 40K* - Nope, your ships in B5 be small! In Warhammer even an escort vessel (like say a Sword-Class Frigate!) is bigger than many ships in B5...sure the Omega-Class is longer (1700 meters compared to 1600 meters), but the Sword has a lot more mass and in 40K it's considered a "dinky little ship" (they use those to hunt pirates, escort convoys etc.)...while a cruiser? Yeah, those are BIG! Several kilometers in length and massive! Hell, if you want to go really large: Ark Mechanicus or Imperial Battleships! Those are larger than the Babylon Stations!

the borg are pretty broken. they can potentially send a ship before they sent the ship. i don't think they have such a thing as being too far from the collective in the future so they wouldn't in the past, they would pass that information back in time to unify their technology throughout time.

I enjoyed this video and thought it was well done. I do think you missed two very important related points. The first is that Earth force was rapidly progressing technologically and that is why it kept producing new classes. It did not create new classes for every conflict. It tried to produce the best classes it could within the technological, financial and political constraints it had. This would be akin to navies during the 19th century which went from the height of the age of sale, to paddle wheel and steam frigates, pre-dreadnought battleships in a century. Think of the growth of the Japanese between 1853, when the United States open to them up to the world, and 1904-05 when Japan would defeat russia, one of the great European powers. Japan would go from not even having its own Navy to destroying one of the most advanced fleets in the world and having an even more advanced Fleet of their own in less than three generations. This rapid technological change meant that not all Earth Force platforms were able to be upgraded fully. One of the fundamental problems with all of the Earth Force vessels before the Omega class destroyer was their lack of artificial gravity. Without artificial gravity, Cruise were not only very uncomfortable, but could only properly function for a few weeks or months. The Omega class was capable of being significantly upgraded as seen with the Omega-X class, which contained Shadow technology.

I am not convinced the Omega-X had advanced sensors. Still using rotation gravity and typical earth engines, I seriously sought internal structures were changed. I believe on the bio armor and light advanced weapons were added. I still think they would be manually fired with no lock-on capability...

It is really very possible that the replicants of Stargate were assimilated a long time ago, because the Borg nanites are much more capable, repairing, modifying and assimilating both life forms and technology, being able to create countermeasures against enemy weapons in a few shots and on top of that they serve as part of the collective.

Let's all remember that the Wraith have devised a way to disable the single command that the Asurans ran on: the elimination of the Wraith. So I think, with time and research, and a captured Borg drone, they will be able to devise a way to counteract Borg command codes.

I believe that the collective hive mind of “The Borg” would win against “The Doomsday Machine”. “The Borg” could direct the Machine into their various interstellar tunnels and transport it into an unoccupied area of their Galaxy to render it harmless to their Empire, especially to the various sectors ranging from Alpha to Delta or other sides. This was like the ancient Romans armies fighting against Hannibal. It was compared to an Elephant which was attacked by thousands of ants. Oh,sure,it could kill thousands, but thousands more ants would take their places to sting and bite the giant animal to death.

Why didn’t they just mothball Babylon 5 base, the galaxy is a big place and outside of the galaxy is even infinitely bigger universe. They have to know sometime in the near or far future, that a large base would be needed to either gather the troops or solve conflicts. Now they will have to start all over in building a new base for future conflicts.

The Bug Replicators are a scourge, the Asuran Replicators are a sleeping giant. The Replicators in the Atlantis series never really got a chance to show what their truly made of, sure they built a fleet ONCE, but that was quickly destroyed by the main cast, and apart from attacking human colonies, they never really did anything hugely game changing in the Pegasus galaxy, before being destroyed. All that said, they had ENORMOUS resources, with MULTIPLE ZPM’s to power their MASSIVE continent spanning city, had they actually been motivated to DO anything, their threat level in the series would have been FAR greater, orders of magnitude above that of the Wraith. Also, don’t knock those Atlantean shields, the Asgard shields were capable of taking a coronal blast from a star in order to shield a planet from the deadly cosmic rays, and Atlantean technology is supposed to be even MORE powerful. I also feel like the bolt blasters of the Atlantean ships would do more to the Borg Cubes, simply due to the fact that the ships their designed to target are LARGE and built more like TANKS, Wraith ships have NO shields whatsoever, and rely entirely on their bulk and armour for defence. So the fact the Atlantean bolt blasters can STILL damage them, showcases the power of those weapons, Borg shielding will likely blunt the blow, but once the blasters break through, they could cause some SERIOUS structural damage. I don’t know enough about the armament of the Borg Cubes to say for certain how effective they’d be against Atlantean shields and Armour, what I do know is those Aurora class vessels are designed to take a BEATING, since they regularly went 1v5 against Wraith Hive Ships. And while I can see the Borg being able to take over A Atlantean ship, they likely would never be able to repeat the process, the Replicators are NOTORIOUS for learning the chinks in their armour and patching them, once a weakness is uncovered, the Replicators go to great lengths to prevent that weakness from being exploited again. So be it a change in strategy or tactics, the Pegasus Replicators would NEVER allow the Borg the chance to infiltrate one of their ships again, which could ultimately make all the difference in a battle. Now for the Bug Replicators. As you described, this would be more akin to an infection rather than a war, and once the Borg got on top of it, they’d likely win… but so long as the Bug Replicators maintain the initiative, I see no reason why the Bugs don’t win, to top off the fact that the Bugs made human form replicators, like those in the Atlantis series, as well, and arguably, were more dangerous because of it, due to the increased processing power these replicators had, increasing the overall intelligence of the replicators collective. This allowed the replicators to build their own ships, rather than steal the ships of others, though they still did do that. Finally there’s the Disruptor weapon. All replicators, no matter if they were from the Milky Way or Pegasus Galaxy, had a remarkable ability to adapt and become resistant to disruption technology, meaning you had to take the replicators down all at once. This was eventually achieved in the Milky Way Galaxy using an ancient super weapon that made use of the Stargates to transmit the disruption energy to every corner of the galaxy, wiping the replicators in one fell swoop, while in Pegasus, the main cast made their own replicator that they deployed to the surface of the replicator’s home world, where she proceeded to draw in all of the nanites that made up the other replicators, creating a single collective mass of nanites, which then solidified and sank into the planet till it reached the core, causing an explosion that ripped the planet asunder, vaporising every nanite in the mass (apart from a single ship of dissidents who had fled before the battle). In short, Replicators are the Stargate version of Grey Goo, near impossible to destroy, and INCREDIBLY powerful, which is why they were one of the most feared enemies of the Stargate Universe, on par with the Dalek’s from Doctor Who, who are another enemy I think the Borg would have trouble with.

Strangely Destiny was more powerful than the newer ancient city of Atlantis against Solar Flares. Atlantis couldn't systain the shield against a CME when the shield was extended out to 20km on just one ZPM. But Daedalus could barely hold the back the CME with the ZPM. The Destiny doesn't even have a ZPM. It's powered only by Fusion (star material) Why is it so powerful and doesn't have a problem with with flying through stars?
